Plain-language summary: You pay once per property for a narrated video. We make it. You own the final video. You're responsible for the content you submit. We can cancel your account if you misuse the service. Please read the full terms below.
1. Acceptance of terms
SpokenStay is a brand operated by AJ Content Group LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as SpokenStay ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your use of spokenstay.com and all services provided by AJ Content Group LLC under the SpokenStay brand.
By accessing or using SpokenStay.com ("the Service"), creating an account, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service.
2. Services description
SpokenStay provides narrated video production services for short-term rental listings, including narration script writing, voice narration, video assembly, and multi-format delivery. Services are provided on a flat, one-time purchase basis per property — there are no subscription plans.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Accounts and registration
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately at john@spokenstay.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By registering, you represent that this is the case.
We may terminate or suspend accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
4. Payments and billing
One-time payments
Each video purchase is a single, flat one-time payment for one property. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. You authorize SpokenStay to charge your payment method for the purchase you make at checkout.
Price changes
We may change our pricing at any time. Price changes apply only to purchases made after the change takes effect and do not affect any purchase you have already completed.
Failed payments
If a payment fails at checkout, no charge is made and no video credit is granted. You may attempt the purchase again at any time.
Refunds
Purchases are generally non-refundable once production has begun. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at john@spokenstay.com.
5. Video credits
Each purchase grants one or more video credits to your account, corresponding to the option you purchased. Video credits do not expire and do not reset on any schedule — they remain on your account until used to submit a property.
Video credits are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased, and have no cash value.
6. Content and submissions
Your content
You retain ownership of all photos, video footage, property information, and scripts that you submit to the Service ("Submitted Content"). By submitting content, you grant SpokenStay a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your Submitted Content solely for the purpose of producing your requested videos.
Your responsibilities
You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the right to use all Submitted Content
- Your Submitted Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
- All property information you provide is accurate and you are authorized to market the property
- Your use of delivered videos complies with the terms and listing rules of any platform you post them to (e.g., Airbnb, VRBO)
Script modifications
When you provide your own script, we reserve the right to make minor phrasing adjustments to optimize for spoken delivery. Your key content, property details, and intent will always be preserved. You will review and approve the final script before recording begins.
7. Deliverables and revisions
Each video order includes one complimentary revision after delivery. Revision requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. Revisions are limited to adjustments to the existing video — they do not include complete reshoots or fundamental changes to the agreed scope.
We target a 48-hour delivery window from script approval. This is a target, not a guarantee. Delivery may be delayed by circumstances outside our control including illness, technical issues, or high volume periods. We will communicate any expected delays promptly.
The 48-hour clock begins at the time of script approval, not submission. If you do not respond to a script approval request within 12 hours, production proceeds automatically on the current draft.
8. Intellectual property
Your videos
Upon full payment, you are granted a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the delivered video for marketing your property, including short-term rental listing platforms, social media, and your own website.
Our property
SpokenStay retains ownership of all production elements, templates, processes, and methodologies used to create your videos. The underlying narration voice remains the exclusive property of SpokenStay and may not be reproduced, cloned, or used outside of the delivered videos.
Production credit
By default, videos include a brief "Narrated by SpokenStay" end credit. You may disable this in your account settings at any time. Disabling the credit does not affect your rights to use the video.
9. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service to:
- Create videos for properties you do not have authorization to market
- Submit fraudulent, misleading, or materially inaccurate property information
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute delivered videos as a commercial product
- Attempt to clone, replicate, or reverse-engineer the narration voice
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
- Harass, threaten, or abuse our staff
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. You may delete your account from your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, if you materially breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends. Delivered videos you have already downloaded remain yours to use under the license granted in Section 8. Videos not yet downloaded at the time of account deletion will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that videos will achieve any specific marketing outcome, increase bookings, or accelerate reservations. Results vary by property, market, and how videos are used.
We are not responsible for how delivered videos are used, shared, or received by third parties.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AJ Content Group LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
13. Governing law
AJ Content Group LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles. As AJ Content Group LLC operates and conducts business in Virginia, any disputes may also be subject to Virginia jurisdiction. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming or Virginia, as applicable.
